Local Astrophysicist Turns Night Sky into Technicolor

Thursday 28th June / posted by Rhian Todhunter

Local Astrophysicist Dr Natasha Hurley-Walker is giving us the opportunity to see the night sky in technicolor by creating a detailed map of the sky. She went around setting up low frequency radio telescopes around the Shire of Murchison, which ended up taking about 10,000 pictures of the sky.

Dr Natasha Hurley-Walker has been named one of the Top 5 Scientists in Australia for 2018.
