Local Feature: Fallen Eyelash’s From There…

Local musician Danyon Burge has released a wonderfully brain-scrambling album under their Fallen Eyelash. Titled From There… the nine-track album eschews traditional Western tonality for a micro-tonal approach to avant-garde art rock.

The debut release from Burge’s new persona is nothing but eclectic in its style as they experiment with using a 22 octave scale step rather than the usual eight. The melodies and harmonies that run through the record sit together with a psychedelic unease whilst continuing to sound incredibly and profoundly funky.
