Local Feature – Hector Morlet’s shares his debut album “The Variety Show”

Local feature Hector Morlet joined Pam on Breakfast to chat about his debut LP The Variety Show and how the album came to be.

The Fremantle based artist creates captivating melodies punctuated by tight, textured beats and grooving bass lines with Hector’s live sets featuring a combination of woozy and growling synthetic sounds, laced with gliding vocals and clarinet refrains.

The album is inspired by Hector’s weekly series ‘The Variety Show’ hosted at Mojos in July and August 2022.

Hector chats with Pam about a change in writing style from his previous releases and who would make it onto the dream Variety Show lineup, no expenses spared.
