Local photographer uses viral fame to fundraise for Black Lives Matter

Wednesday 24th June / presented by Taylah Strano

PIC: Jim Hall

At the Black Lives Matter protest on June 13, Jim Hall took a striking aerial photograph of the gathered crowd. He's now offering prints for sale, with proceeds going to the National Suicide Prevention and Trauma Recovery Project.

Breakfast with Taylah talks with Jim about his photo and his process leading up to his decision to raise funds, and to Project Director Megan Krakouer about the work she does to help Indigenous Australians as part of the Project.

You can see the print fundraiser here, and more information about the National Suicide Prevention and Trauma Recovery Project here.

If you, or someone you know, needs to speak to someone, Lifeline's number is 13 11 14
