Making Life Better, not Bitter

In recognition of International Women’s Day, we’ve been talking to nominees for WA Women’s Hall of Fame this week on Morning Magazine.

This morning we spoke with Penny Webb.

Penny has worked for over 30 years in the community service sector and has advocated for the homeless and those in poverty.

She was part of the team that started the Victoria Park Community Connect and has worked with many different orphanages around the world.

Penny has also run a non-for-profit organisation for 17 years working in advocacy for the under privileged and has raised over $45,000 for an orphanage in the Ukraine - buying beds for disabled children in need.

Penny spoke with Paul Van Lieshout Hunt this morning…
