You Can Talk About Mental Health

It’s Mental Health Week – an initiative held every year that includes World Mental Health Day – that’s tomorrow, and we’ll be acknowledging that.

The aim of mental health week is to promote social and emotional wellbeing to the community.

And the Youth Affairs Council of WA is involved.

It’s running Music Feedback – a program that aims to reduce the stigma for young people in talking about mental issues.

One of the key aspects of Music Feedback is a series of rockumentaries where young people interview musicians about mental health issues.

There’s also a CD featuring songs addressing mental health.
