Mental Health Week

Monday 5th October / presented by Chris Wheeldon

Mental Health Week is held in October each year to coincide with World Mental Health Day (10 October).

Mental Health Week 2015 will run from 2-10 October, with the theme of Act Belong Commit.

The aim of MHW is to raise community awareness about mental health issues, promote social and emotional wellbeing to the community, encourage people to maximise their health potential, enhance the coping capacity of communities, families, individuals and increase mental health recovery.

Anglicare WA Youth Consultant Jethro Sercombe joined RTRFM’s Chris Wheeldon on The Mag, to discuss how individuals and communities can support mental heath awareness recovery.
