Nepal Earthquake Recovery

Monday 20th July / presented by Chris Wheeldon

Early this year Nepal experienced a magnitude 7.3 Earthquake, killing nearly 9000 people and leaving hundreds and thousands homeless.

The catastrophic event left the stunning country a dangerous mess with the dark irony that despite a massive increase in homeless, houses need to be levelled to help rebuild.

The cleanup has been quoted in the billions, and an estimated 50,000 workers will be trained to help.

Kate Moore from UNICEF joined us to speak about what is happening.
