Paint Subi: Bringing Street Art and Culture to the Heart of Subiaco

Monday 6th November / presented by Jane Hebiton

Today is the beginning of a week long event called Paint Subi - a project that will bring life to the streets and buildings of Subiaco while adding to the aesthetic of diversity and cultural development.

Four artists will be adding bright and colourful makeovers to the iconic post office building, a four story wall of a car park building and two laneways.

But the event doesn't just include a chance for local and international artists to showcase their talents - over the weekend there will be many community engagement events such as talks, tours and workshops.

Joining Jane on The Mag today is City of Subiaco CEO Don Burnett, to discuss the benefits of this event for the community.
