Perth Gets Jazzed Up

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we all lived “in a jazz world where we all work together, improvise together, are not afraid of taking chances and expressing ourselves”- this is the dream of the great Herbie Hancock.

The second annual, UN-designated International Jazz Day, a day where we celebrate the great unifying power of this momentous genre.

Istanbul’s the Global Host City this year – the Turkish city home to discussion and jamming, performing and reflecting on the inclusive force that is jazz music.

You can follow events online.

Cities all over the world are holding their own celebrations – Perth’s about to host its own inaugural International Jazz Festival, with many performances set to take place later this month.
