Perth Poetry Festival 2021

PPF2021 returns September 10-19 2021. Blake Innes & Scott-Patrick Mitchell join Artbeat’s Bec Bowman to discuss this years iteration of the event, including a wide variety of free and low-cost events, workshops, discussion and poetry readings designed to inspire and encourage.

A myriad of events include: First Nation poetry, LGBTIQA+ poetry, micro-residencies you can apply for, fairytales, Poems From Isolation, Wellness Poetry, Multicultural Poetry Night, book launches, Gala Opening and Finale nights and workshops with each of the guest poets.

Guest poets include: RikTheMost (Rikki Livermore, NZ) via Zoom, David McCooey (Vic) via Zoom, Jill Jones (SA) via Zoom, with local poets: Cassie Lynch, Emily Sun, Alexander Te Pohe, Miriam Wei Wei Lo.
