Petticoat Junkyards Debut Album is Full Of Country Goodness

Thursday 26th October / posted by Chris Wheeldon

Petticoat Junkyard are not just fans of Country music...they’re also dedicated and committed to mining the legacy of Country Music made by the legends of the genre such as The Carter Family, Gram Parsons, Loretta Lynn and many, many more.

Donning their *Coat of Many Colours* and *Working 9 to 5* on their *Tennessee Mountain Home* because, clearly, *Love is Like a Butterfly*…It looks like they’ve channelled all of the alt-country vibes in creating their self-titled debut album - which launches this weekend at the The Rosemount Hotel in North Perth.

Vocalist and Guitarist of the band Nici Ward came in to chat not only about the bands album launch, but she also gave us a quick live-listen to If I - a song she not only wrote herself, but a song that is felt as most familiar amongst the band themselves.
