PREMIERE: Jack Davies & The Bush Chooks

Thursday 5th March / presented by Taylah Strano

Fremantle sweethearts Jack Davies & The Bush Chooks have been busy readying a new EP for 2020, with first cut Half Frozen Beer on the cusp of release.

If last year is anything to go by, we're in store for another twelve months of lineups dominated by the Australiana folk-tinged sounds the bush chooks - and we're totally okay with it!

Of Half Frozen BeerDavies said it's a light-hearted ramble about romance and fragility. It's a slightly detour from the usual JDBC sound, but don't fear, they'll still have thoughtful lyrics and heavy folk vibes when the EP is released.

You can catch Jack Davies & The Bush Chooks at Mojos on Saturday March 7 with Siobhan Cotchin, Haircare and Special Feelings.
