Renae Hayward Says Hello

Renae Hayward is a West Australian children’s author, born in the Pilbara region.

Renae has authored two books for children, ‘Barking Mad‘ and ‘Say Hooray‘. She releases her third book, ‘Say Hello‘, with Fremantle Press in collaboration with Rebecca Mills.

Rebecca Mills is the graphic designer and illustrator behind ‘Say Hello‘, as well as Ranae’s second book, ‘Say Hooray‘. She is best known for her bright, colourful, whimsical illustrations.

“This fun, bold, read-aloud book has been designed to captivate children from a young age. Research shows that the more senses you engage while reading to bubs positively impacts the development of their language and comprehension skills. That’s why Say Hello can be read and sung, and has simple, high-contrast illustrations featuring many recognisable words.”
