Ronan finds Radical Acceptance

Two and a half years on from the release of their debut, self-titled EP on Vanity PressRobin Lohrey has found peace in self-reflection as Ronan.

Ronan, which translates to "A Little Seal" in Gaelic, encompasses their new musical vision and path, fitting alongside the foundation of their Eternal Ocean record label, the genesis of which came between their hometown on San Juan Island and their travels to Bogotá, Colombia.

Their Radical Acceptance EP, released last month via Seattle's Budget Cuts Records & Tapes, is a collection of electronic music spanning a range of tempos and moods, sitting somewhere along the hardcore continuum as a representation of an important transition period in their life, recorded largely during a Summer spent living in seclusion in a cabin on the Olympic Peninsula of their native Washington State.

RTRFM Presenter and Music Department Assistant Darcy Love spoke with Ronan about their music, Eternal Ocean and their motivations and inspirations, which you can hear below.

Darcy began the chat by asking Ronan about their musical background and career to date.
