RTRFM Top Played Tracks of March 2019

Thursday 4th April / posted by Will Backler

March 2019 was another great month for new music, and as always, we've pulled our playlist data and run the numbers to see who was spin the most.

RTRFM is not playlisted, meaning all of our 300+ presenters have 100% curatorial control over their programs, so this list truly reflects the sound alternative.

As always, many tracks were played an equal number of times, resulting in a lot of ties, with the majority of tracks being homegrown in WA with a couple of east coast additions too. Ahead of their performance at In The Pines 2019, new local favourites Gazey were clearly the most played band, 9 full spins ahead of second-placed Tropical Fuck Storm.

1. Gazey - Sleep

2. Tropical Fuck Storm - The Planet of Strawmen

3. Abbe May - Fuck you

3. Body Type - Stingray

3. Carla Geneve - 2001

6. Harvey Sutherland - Something in the Water feat. Jace XL

6. Pikelet - Plovers

6. Stella Donnelly - Tricks

9. Denise Le Menice - Stars

9. Feels - BAD4ME feat. Missy

9. Fourth State - Lost in Dreams

9. Julia Jacklin - Pressure to Party

9. Stella Donnelly - Old Man

Massive thank you to Daniel Midgley for his statistical wizardry!
