San Cisco Disco Ball (Park Music)

Friday 31st August / presented by Peter Lech

San Cisco are undeniably one of the biggest acts to come out of Perth in the last decade. Describing themselves as "squelchy, crispy, stream-lined, hairy, indie pop", the four piece act aren't showing any signs of slowing down.

Since forming in 2009, San Cisco have released three studio albums and EPs; earning them accolades such as "Most Popular Single" and "Most Popular Music Video" (for their single Awkward in 2012).  They have achieved international notoriety and touring success with their "rough, low-fi garage pop" mixed with "bright catchy hooks", but agree that there is no better place than their home-town, Fremantle.

Peter Lech spoke with San Cisco lead guitarist, and vocalist Jordi Davieson on Friday morning Breakfast, to talk about what has been keeping them busy in the studio, and the preparation for their upcoming 2018 Australian tour, co-headlining with Ball Park Music.
