Ships in the Morning

Thursday 19th November / posted by Caitlin Nienaber

Every couple of months, lovers of words from Perth and beyond gather together to share poems, spoken word, stories and songs for Ships in the Night: a gig that puts music in a new context and pulls words off the page and onto the stage.

Ahead of their 12th and final edition for 2015, Caitlin Nienaber caught up with writer and illustrator Richard Em and novelist Dennis Venning.

The young, emerging wordsmiths talked about and shared some of their writing on Breakfast.
