Skateboarding Exhibition – City Of Melville

There are some exciting things happening in the City Of Melville this Summer.

On Friday December 3rd 2021, the Freedom Exhibition will be open to the public – sharing stories from Skate Culture across Western Australia.

Furthermore, given the nature of sidewalk surfing, the exhibit is not just confined to four walls

Breakfast With Taylah is joined in the studio with both Pete Stone who is the City’s Creative Producer, and Ben Bowring who is the sole Founder of Skateboarding WA.

Together they sit down to discuss the difficulties associated with capturing the subculture of rebellion and freedom through the form of an exhibition, including what they both love about Skateboarding and where their own journeys begun when they were younger.
