Slaughterhouse Glass Walls

The popular slogan ‘if slaughterhouses had glass walls everyone would be vegetarian’ is indicative of a view commonly held by animal advocates: that the biggest barrier to improving animal welfare is community ignorance about what really goes on in factory farms.

But, instead of being praised, those exposing animal abuse at factory farms are being prosecuted.

‘Ag-Gag’ laws have spread rapidly, making it illegal in several U.S. states to film factory farms.

Now the agriculture industry wants to bring ag-gag to Australia.

Will Potter’s an award-winning journalist and author who focuses on eco-terrorism, the environment and animal rights movements, and joined Paul in the studio…
