Spartaking Across the Nullabor

Thursday 10th July / posted by Chris Wheeldon

Canberra experimentalists Spartak return with a new member and a new sound to match. Moving from their previous avant-noise sound as a two piece, with a third member Spartak's sound has shifted into the realms of abstract electronica, with perhaps even a little pop influence, as evidenced on their new EP 'Five Points'.

Founding member Shoeb Ahmad spoke to Posted's Oliver Laing ahead of two upcoming shows in Perth to launch the EP.
