Stand Up! For Comedy

Tuesday 17th October / presented by James Hall

Last Friday The WA Association for Mental Health and the Perth Theatre Trust banded together again to bring the funniest night of the year and the closing act of Mental Health Week’s 50th Anniversary.

The night of laughs and lols was held at the State Theatre with part proceeds going back into community mental health in WA.

Hosted by local comedic legend Werzel Montague and featuring a stellar line-up of some of Australia’s most hilarious comedians including Janelle Koenig, David Tuffley and Emma Krause.

Before the show Werzel joined James Hall on Artbeat to talk the importance of mental health in comedy.
