Stef Rae’s ‘Subconcious Landing’ at Art Framers

‘Subconcious Landing’ is a art exhibition featuring work from local artist, Stef Rae.

The event is being hosted at Assembly Dept Gallery in Highgate on October, 21 and will be the first exhibition at the gallery since the COVID pandemic.

Stef Rae, a Western Australian artist, excels in pushing paint’s textural limits, crafting art that bridges reality and imagination. She starts with abstract concepts, letting each piece evolve organically. Her work, rich with dreamlike ambiguity, strength, and identity, reflects a harmonious blend of subconscious and conscious elements.

The managing director of Art Framers Gallery and their sister gallery, the Assembly Dept, Shane Hughes, joins Bec Bowman on Artbeat to discuss new exhibition, ‘Subconcious Landing’.
