Supporting the Hive

Monday 17th June / posted by Chris Wheeldon

Arguably the largest workers organisation is threating to go under. They don't wear suits or carry briefcases. They are Honeybees.

Today, more than a third of our food sources require pollination from Honeybees yet their population continues to decline dramatically. Talk about a buzz-kill.

UWA bee expert, Barbara Baer-Imhoof presents "Life in Hive" this July at UWA, a special event that investigates our relationship with honeybees, why they are threatened and what we can do to support them in the future.
