The Arctic Thirty

The thirty activists charged with with piracy in Russia, after two of them tried to climb aboard an russian oil rig,  have had their charges dropped and replaced with the charge of  Hooliganism.

Hooliganism carries a maximum penalty of seven years in prison.

The wife of one of these activist, Australian Colin Russell,  has only been allowed to speak with him once on the phone, and has received only a small number of letters.
