The contemporary exhibition connecting all Western Australians to visual art

Regional communities across the state of Western Australia are often disconnected with the world of contemporary art. Art on The Move seeks to bring the world of visual art to these regions through their Exhibition Touring Strategy.

The five-year touring circuits sets out to provide development opportunities to strength the economy and cultural development of regional WA. The strategy also aims to give opportunities for regional artists to display their work outside of their own locations to support these artists with exposure and possible employment.

Acting Executive Director Ricky Arnold came in to talk with Fiona Bartholomaeus about the goals for the strategy and the reactions to Art on the Move.
