The Cripple of Inishmaan

A cripple, some blustery islands off the coast of Ireland, and a story based on a real life filming on these islands during the 1930’s – the story The Cripple of Inishmaan has many faces.

As does the Director of this play – actor, writer, activist, advisor to government, and the Director of Ireland’s premier drama school – Patrick Sutton – who is spending some time in Perth with Australia’s premier drama school – the Western Australian Acadamy of Performing Arts.

This week WAAPA debuts the dark comedy The Cripple of Inishmaan, and the man who has brought it all together joins me…
