Perth’s Downsyde

Thursday 2nd March / presented by Caitlin Nienaber

It started as a friendship at Craigie High School and morphed into one of the most loved and most successful hip-hop outfits WA has ever had.

Downsyde released a bunch of great albums, performed all over the country and around the world, they stormed the Wami awards several times over and paved the way for many who followed.

After taking time out for a few years to pursue solo endeavours Optamus, Dazastah and Shahbaz are back making music together and hitting the stage at City Limits festival on the Labour Day long weekend.

Scott Griffiths AKA Optamus hung out with Caitlin Nienaber on Breakfast.
