The Food Alternative #24: Open a Bar, They Said.

Wednesday 1st October / presented by Ronan Lane

Perth is proving to be a fertile breeding ground for new dining ventures. With the local food scene flourishing with new bars, cafes and restaurants we thought it was time to take a look behind the scenes.

Everyone thinks they can start a bar or a restaurant, but can we? What happens behind the scenes? How hard is it really and is it just a dream to believe anyone can do it?

Today on the Food Alternative we welcome the co-owners of recently opened St Michael 6003 – chefs Scott O’Sullivan from Red Cabbage and Todd Stuart from Petite Mort; and Tam Nguyen once of Buttys Food Truck but now in the bricks and mortar world of Urban Bowl.
