The Pleasure of Tools

Friday 14th September / presented by Jeff Bullen

From the shovel, to the remote, to gestures and language - humans can't live without tools.

Twelve successful mid-career artists exhibit their work at Mundaring Arts Centre in the coming month under 'The Distinct Pleasure of Tools' theme. The seed of this idea has sprung outstandingly sophisticated thought processes, demonstrating a celebration and reinvention of daily-use objects.

Art curator Jude van der Merwe spoke with Jeff Bullen on Artbeat about her project Instrumental: The Distinct Pleasure of Tools.
