The Soft Moon

Tuesday 25th October / posted by Matt Tomich

[To sum up US post-punk act The Soft Moon in one word we would say Intense.

The band was founded as a solo project in 2009 by multi-instrumentalist LUIS VASQUEZ as a form of emotional release and catharsis.

He’s now made three albums, including last year’s Deeper.

His music sounds like a lonely drive on a deserted freeway in the dead of night - it’s a blend of industrial, gothic and electro-pop sounds.

Vasquez is bringing The Soft Moon’s famous live show to Mojos tonight but he’s having Breakfast first.
