The Victims are Back in Town

Friday 11th August / presented by Caitlin Nienaber

1977 was a big year: RTRFM started broadcasting as 6UWA and was the first FM radio station in Perth! There were also three guys who started a punk band called The Victims. After a few months they broke up, but they left us with a handful of iconic, influential music, and many much-loved songs.

This weekend original members Dave Faulkner and James Baker are getting back together with honorary third member Ray Ahn - to rock out and celebrate 40 years. Today all three members came into the studio to share the love with fellow 40-year-old lovers of RTRFM.

The Victims will be reuniting and performing this weekend at both The Rosemount Hotel and at Mojo's Bar in Fremantle.
