The View From Here #15: Erasers

Friday 6th May / posted by Chris Wheeldon

RTRFM’s award-nominated short film series The View From Here returns for its second season with Episode 15, featuring ambient duo Erasers silhouetted by the Perth skyline on the rooftop of the Art Gallery of Western Australia in the Perth Cultural Centre.

Here, Erasers paint the sky with ethereal soundscapes, soaked in reverb and punctuated by Orchard’s hypnotic, ritualistic vocals.

Erasers are Perth musicians Rebecca Orchard and Rupert Thomas. Their debut full-length release, Stem Together, came out in September 2015 and was an RTRFM local feature album.
