The View From Here #23: Grievous Bodily Calm

Thursday 26th April / posted by Chris Wheeldon

RTRFM's long running video series The View From Here returns in 2018 with a set of WA bands playing their music in unique WA locations.

The first in the new series sees the jazz inspired tunes of Grievous Bodily Calm play for us at Clancy's Fish Pub, City Beach. Watch as they roll through four songs with the Indian Ocean as their backdrop, nothing more WA then hanging at the beach.

GBC, comprised of Alex Reid (Drums), Zac Grafton (Bass), Josiah Padmanabham (Keys), Matt McGlynn (Trumpet) and Edo Ekic (Guitar) blend the sounds of traditional jazz with beat driven music.

They roll through four songs; Footwork, G.B.C, Tremble Dance and Replicant as the waves crash behind them.
