Thinker In Residence

Thursday 29th May / presented by Paul Hunt

International expert in child resilience Dr Michael Ungar is in Perth this month as the Commissioner for Children and Young People’s Thinker in Residence.

During his two-week residency Dr Ungar is working with management and staff from organisations around Perth, as well as parents, offering new perspectives on a community-wide approach to building resilience in children and young people.

In 2012 the Canadian Association of Social Workers recognised Dr Ungar’s work on resilience with a National Award for Outstanding Service.

We’re exploring that work with Dr Michael Ungar this morning…
