This Friday will see Women Reclaiming The Night

Thursday 26th October / posted by Chris Wheeldon

On the final Friday of October each year, the rally Reclaim The Night is held worldwide to protest against male violence towards all females; whether they be young girls, teenagers, or full-grown women. The rally sees women coming together to demand their humanitarian right to be able to live free from violence whilst building knowledge, support and opportunities for further feminist action that can be used and taken in Perth, as well as around the globe.

Fraser Windsor and Liz Waterhouse came into the Studio to speak to us about the world-wide rally, and what else we can possibly expect on the night.

**Reclaim The Night will bestaring at 6.30pm on Friday October 27 at Russell Square in Northbridge. For more information on the Reclaim the Night Rally visit GreenLeft.org**
