This Week on Science with Sarah…

Thursday 2nd November / presented by Caitlin Nienaber

Every week we get a dose of the latest in science with Sarah Lau. This week she’s talking to us about:

  • The giant ice cracks that are forcing a British research station in Antarctica to close its doors due to possible fears of the ice shelves breaking off, ultimately leaving the scientists stranded.
  •  CSIRO scientists are beginning to wrap up their investigation into deep sea life North West off the coast of WA.
  • Scientists uncovering genetic clues as to why asthma, hay fever and eczema often occur together.
  • And how a new ‘coffee pod’-style invention allows you to transform lab-grown plant cells into jam-like food.

Thanks Sarah!
