Unaffordable Housing leading to Crisis

The housing crisis continues to grow as does the need for fast and practical solutions, and for the community to be aware of them.

Iain Shields, CEO of Home Hub – a local organisation looking to innovate and find solutions to the housing crisis in Perth – called out to the community to assist in this prevalent crisis.

Housing the Community, a forum on the 29th July, connects people with the right organisations to attain or provide affordable housing as well as providing accurate and necessary data that our state government can act on.

The COVID-19 pandemic has worsened this crisis. Less than 1% of affordable housing is available in Perth metro and other areas have similarly bleak statistics.
