Wednesday 7th May / presented by Elizabeth PO’ Adrian Glamorgan

Come Tuesday, Treasurer Joe Hockey will hand down his first Coalition budget.  How will the government's approach of "direct action", cutbacks and competitive federalism impact on key environmental issues like climate change, biodiversity, water and national parks?  Dugald Murray, senior economist with the Australian Conservation Foundation takes us through the economic instruments the government is likely to use.

Cameron Power, chair of Sustainable Energy Now also adds a SEN perspective.  All this, and a Roe 8 tollway to come!
