Understorey: Regenerating South West Agriculture pt 2

Wednesday 26th September / presented by Elizabeth PO’ Adrian Glamorgan

From the ashes of the 2013 bushfire, poultry farmer Jeff Pow could demonstrate the power of the regenerative agrarian approach. By working with natural cycles, a farm can recover quickly, benefit the ecology, and also make a surplus, ultimately even creating local jobs.  Regrarian farming avoids the agro-industrial corporations, and the use of pesticides and bringing in fertilisers. Not everyone in the South West farms that way today, but as it turns out, Jeff Pow's innovations were tried and tested long ago.  (Image: A. Glamorgan)
