Understorey: Shepherds and Sustainability v2

Wednesday 15th August / presented by Elizabeth PO’ Adrian Glamorgan

For almost 40 years West-Australian born Rowe Morrow has worked around the globe - in places in Africa, Central and South East Asia and Eastern Europe - offering skills and insights, helping war-torn and climate-damaged communities to restore food, identity, landscape and community confidence, using permaculture’s design principles.  She is the author of numerous publications including "The Earth User’s Guide to Permaculture,"which has been translated into 7 languages, and "The Earth User’s Guide to Teaching Permaculture".  Understorey was interested that Rowe has started to notice the diminishing role of shepherds around the globe, and so the 2017 Advance Global Australian Award-winner joins our uniquely conceived series on Quaker women and shepherds. (Another version of this Understorey interview was broadcast in November 2017)
