Understorey: What is the Place Worth?

Wednesday 28th October / presented by Elizabeth PO’ Adrian Glamorgan

Are Perth’s wetlands  in the spotlight of the naturalist, enjoying the local species after sunset, or the headlights of the bulldozer, razing paradise?  Professor Kevin Kenneally of the WA Gould League, at Herdsman Lake’s Wildlife Centre, reminds us of the value inherent in wild urban nature spaces, precious wetlands remaining from what was once known as Perth’s great lakes.

It’s timely to put on our walking boots and take a stroll into some of the precious values of our banksia woodland and wetlands, highlighting what is at stake .
