UWA Research Week: Digital Humanities Showcase – Fighting Words.

Thursday 7th September / presented by Antonino Tati

Virtual reality has become one of the fastest growing field of research, where researchers have created extensive realistic worlds to simulate a variety of different situations and scenarios.

Dr. Michael Ovens is one of the three presenters at today’s Digital Humanities Showcase, and he is also credited as the creator to Virtual Reality based simulation; Fighting Words, which paces itself around the spatial dynamics of medieval literary combat narratives.

Dr. Ovens is presenting his project today as a part for UWA Research Week; and earlier this morning he joined RTRFM 92.1 to tell us all about it.
