Vale The Black Captain (1972-2015)

Monday 5th October / presented by The Black Captain RIP (1972 -2015)

It is with a very heavy heart that we say goodbye to long-time RTRFM presenter Pete Dunstan, who passed away suddenly over the weekend at age 43.

Pete, or as he was better known, The Black Captain, has been with RTRFM since 1990, presenting Behind The Mirror, Brain Blood Volume, and most recently, Thursday Out To Lunch.

Pete’s passing has come as a terrible shock to all of us at RTRFM, and we mourn the loss of a kind and intelligent man gone far too soon.

Our sincere condolences to Pete’s family, friends and listeners who will no doubt miss him greatly, as will the whole team at RTRFM.

Please listen to his last Out To Lunch below and a Behind The Mirror tribute to the great man.
