Viola Dana Do Nosferatu

Wednesday 28th October / presented by Caitlin Nienaber

Like the early 1900s silent film actress they take their name from, Viola Dana is a band that evokes a bygone era.

The local instrumental quartet have gained a reputation for creating their own soundtracks to classic films after their magical reimagining of Buster Keaton’s The General.

On Sunday 1st November, Kathy Corecig, Pete Guazzelli, Tristen Parr and Jozef Grech will premiere their new, original soundtrack for German Expressionist masterpiece Nosferatu as part of the Fremantle Festival.

Pete joined Caitlin on Breakfast to talk about breathing new life into a horror classic.
