W.A’s Coast Clean Up Being Led by Perth’s very own Residential Shark Scientist

Amanda Elizabeth doesn't just hold possibly the coolest job title in the world - hint: she's a Shark Scientist! - she 's also recently been appointed by the United Nations Association for Western Australia the role 'Ocean Lead'.

This very same Amanda will be hosting the two beach clean up events taking place at Fremantle's Leighton Beach over the next two weekends. These clean up's aim to help clean up the beaches - therefore the coast of W.A. - in response to the mounting amounts of plastic and other garbage and rubbish that continuously ends up circulating in our oceans; ultimately washing up upon our uniquely-beautiful shores.
