Monday 8th April / posted by Danae Gibson

The Western Australian Council of Social Service (WACOSS) Emerging Issues Forum held annually, provides analysis to inform the service and strategic planning needs of the executives and Boards of community service providers into the future.

Emerging Issues is an environmental scan, focusing on the future of the changing social, economic, and political contexts. It offers the sector the most current and relevant information on trends that are constantly changing, in order for them to address the most pressing needs of people facing disadvantage and those placed in vulnerable positions, to enable them the opportunity to succeed and prosper.

  • David Gilchrist, Professor, University of Western Australia
  • Chris Twomey, Research and Policy Development Leader, Western Australian Council of Social Service (WACOSS)
  • Emma Gibbons, CGM Communications

The second hour of the Emerging Issues was a panel discussion.
