Walking Together For Freedom

Friday 20th October / posted by Chris Wheeldon

Speaking with CEO Mohammad Al-Khafaji about Walk Together for Freedom,

An event this Saturday in place to bring the community together by walking together and bringing attention to our government's attitudes towards refugees.

With many refugees either under confinement in places like Manus island or placed in Australia unsupported with uncertainty of the longevity of their stay. This tends to create an unstable state to live and think in. Mohammad Al-Khafaji is looking to share knowledge in hopes to build empathy towards the many individuals caught in this place of limbo.

It all kicks off at Russell Square 11am 21st of October, Hope you can make it down.
