What is Change Ringing?

Bell ringing is a non-vocal choir and while it can be an activity you do by yourself it is almost always done in a group. Bell ringing is a very social activity , often considered a hobby by most.

Change Ringing is a unique style of music that provides a back drop to the soundscape of the cities and towns that we live in. Most people will have heard it but know very little about it.

Last week, from Friday 9 June – 12 June, the 2023 ANZAB Ringing Festival, to be held in Western Australia from Friday, 9th June to Monday, 12th June, 2023. Featuring multiple bell ringings across Bridgetown, York, Bunbury and Perth.
