Youth Week at RTRFM

Thursday 18th April / presented by Taylah Strano

It is Youth Week, and to celebrate we have guests from Propel Youth Arts joining Taylah for Breakfast.

We learn all about this organisation, similar to RTRFM in how it supports young people in the creative industry. Propel Youth Arts is for the youth, by the youth, with members from ages 12 to 26 all giving ideas for this weeks KickstART Festival.

Still Here Labs are having free artist talks today at 5:30pm. We learn more about the walking performance, and how it supports queer spaces...

Emily and Benj were joined on Out to Lunch by three guests from Haxa House; delivering all the info about their event tomorrow night, Friday the 19th, at 7pm. Taking place at Northbridge's Centre for Stories, it involves many artists and performers of different disciplines, and is completely free. For more details, check out their Facebook and Instagram pages.

The week comes to a close this Saturday (the 20th), with a prom event happening at the State Theatre from 4-8pm, with anyone welcome to come along.

On Sunday the 21st, there is a youth event at the State Library involving a blanket fort and contemplations of failure. Manifesto to Softness is also happening, an exhibition combining stunning photography and audio.

With more workshops and events, there is much for the youth of WA to do!

Propel Youth Arts gives us the details behind what they do and how to involved, so stay tuned...
